Applicants, who must have completed, or be about to complete, an NCTJ-accredited course or distance learning programme successfully, will have a demonstrable interest in diversity and understand its importance to the future of journalism.

In return the NCTJ will offer a trainee level salary and further journalism training, development and networking opportunities. The internship is designed to help the successful candidate develop a career in journalism.

It is expected that the internship will commence as soon as possible for up to six months.
